Hi Everyone,

Sorry it’s been so long in between posts, there haven’t been many opportunities to spend time uploading photos.

It’s been busy since I wrote last. We finished handover from the other cast and they left at the end of last cruise in Rome. We also all said goodbye to Julie (our choreographer) and Jacque and Lincoln (Costume Alterations). Our shows are going really well. We’ve still only got two shows out of the five that we haven’t yet performed, so it will be good to get them over and done with by the end of this cruise. Getting the first performance of a show out of the way is a good feeling.

So now that we’ve got the handover cruise over with we’ve been able to move into our own cabins and start enjoying the ports. In Rome, Dave and I went to the Vatican in the morning and then enjoyed wandering around Rome before catching the train back to Civitavecchia where the ship was docked.

The next day we docked in Livorno, Italy and I did a tour to Florence and Pisa. I’m hoping to climb the leaning tower of Pisa when Chris comes on (which can I just say is in 8 WEEKS!!!). How's this for a coincidence? The day I was in Florence, the town was so unbelievably busy because there were 6 other cruise ships in that day. Anyway I was walking down the street and ran into a friend of mine (Tara Doe) from my last contract on the Regal. What are the chances?

The next day we docked in Cannes, France. There I did a tour to Monte Carlo and Monaco City which was very very cool. I went to the Palace, visited the Cathedral that Princess Grace is buried in and went inside the Casino. I’ve never seen so many Ferraris’, Corvettes and Lamborghinis being driven around as everyday cars. The wealth there is amazing. I also got to see where the Grand Prix begins and races.

After two sea days we arrived in Lisbon, Portugal. Lisbon is a beautiful city. Dave and I did a river cruise in the morning and spent the rest of the day downtown before catching the tram back to the ship. It was very hot there and I did a bit of shopping… how could I not, the shopping there is great!

Yesterday, I had a great day visiting the D-Day Landing site in Normandy. The French country side is beautiful. Today, I’m in Dover again visiting the Prince Albert Pub. We had a rehearsal today so we weren’t able to do a tour. Instead we had to rehearsal for one of the shows we are still yet to do, which we will perform for the first time tonight. After rehearsal went to visit Dover Castle before coming here to the pub to get on the internet.

I’ve uploaded some photos from Rome outside the Vatican, Florence & Pisa, Lisbon, formal night and some show and costume photos. One of them is of the boys and I in rehearsal mucking around with alternative wigs than the ones we’re meant to wear.

Mum and Annette get on this next cruise in Stockholm and then of course it’s my BIRTHDAY!!! Very exciting!!

Hope everyone is great at home.

Miss you. Be sure to keep me updated with your news.

Love Jess xx
